Last week, international tabloids, including </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">The Sun</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">, reported that Troy actor Brad Pitt allegedly bought the yacht for wife, </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Friends</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:=""> star Jennifer Aniston. The reports said that he paid a rumoured $3 million (Rs 13.5 cr) for the same, a gift intended to symbolise his love for Aniston. Mallya was described as ''an Indian brewing tycoon''. </span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">Mallya denies that the </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Kalizma</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:=""> is sold. "Many people have expressed an interest in the yacht. But the yacht is still mine." Mallya does admit to </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Kalizma</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:=""> being on the market, but doesn''t know if Brad Pitt bid for it. "Bidd-ing is done through brokers," he says. "I''m not directly involved." Burton had reportedly paid £18,000 for the boat in 1967. He presented the almost 100-year-old vessel to Taylor after she won an Oscar for </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Who''s Afraid of Virginia Woolf</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">. He had told BT in 2001, "I spent almost $3 million to fully restore the yacht." At the time it was reportedly worth nearly $10m (Rs 48 crore). Mallya had also claimed he would never sell the </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Kalizma</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">. But, he''s replaced her with a bigger boat.
